Second Week of Lent: A Listening Heart ... Prayer

Jesus went away to a quiet place to pray.

These are some instances of Jesus retreating to a quiet place to pray (Mk 1:35 and 14:32; Mt 14:13 and 14:23; Lk 5:16 and 6:12).
Have you ever considered what Jesus derived from his alone-time with God his Heavenly Father?

Lent is often described as a time of retreating into the desert, so what better time for us to use this season in intentional personal prayer and reflection.

Ignatian prayer is imaginative, reflective and personal.
Here is a suggestion on how you could use imaginative prayer this week.
     * Sit in quiet, imagine going with Jesus to a quiet place ...
     * Where might this be? What does it look like? What will you find?

With the present suspension of the masses due to the COVID-19, how would you be led by Jesus to pray where he prays?
